This unit provides students with a wider appreciation of two aspects of systems development. Firstly there is an examination of the human aspects of systems analysis and design and the methodologies stemming from this. Secondly, building on the methodology introduced in earlier years, a discussion of other approaches, such as soft systems, and DSDM. Thus students should be able to make informed decisions regarding choice of a development appropriate to a particular environment.
